About

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. My research focuses on the formation and evolution of cosmic structure, dark matter physics, and the connection between galaxies and their dark matter halos.

I received my B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, followed by an M.Sc. in Physics from IIT Bombay. I earned my Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. I was then a postdoctoral fellow at the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC), Stanford University from 2017 to 2021, and at the University of Chicago from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, I joined the Department of Physics at IISER Pune as a faculty member.
